Ivy Leen Maure Francisco, born in Vallejo and raised in Pittsburg, was deeply connected to her family and friends. From an early age, she demonstrated strength and independence that would remain defining qualities throughout her life. She carried herself with quiet resilience, often placing the needs of others before her own.
Ivy attended Pittsburg High School and pursued work in the healthcare field, a path that reflected her compassion and genuine desire to care for others. Helping people was not simply her profession, but a reflection of who she was. She possessed a selfless heart and a strong sense of responsibility toward those she loved and those in need.
Family was the center of Ivy’s life. She loved deeply, especially her daughter, Penelope Harding, who was her greatest joy. She is survived by her sisters, Jasmin Amarante and Noemi Francisco, and her cherished nieces, Chanel, Realyn, and Jamie, who brought her pride and happiness. She is also survived by her partner, Sergio Sanchez. Ivy also shared close bonds with her cousins, aunts, and uncles, relationships grounded in loyalty, love, and quiet devotion.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Francisco, her father, Rolando Francisco Sr., and her brother, Rolando Francisco Jr. These profound losses shaped her life, yet despite the hardships she endured, Ivy continued to show strength, grace, and care for others.
Outside of her work and family, Ivy found comfort in animals. She dearly loved her dog, Dune, her cat, Ace, and her goldfish, Zuko, who were all sources of peace, companionship, and unconditional comfort in her life.
At the age of 37, Ivy passed away in Tempe, Arizona on December 14, 2025.
Ivy will be remembered for her compassion, unwavering selflessness, kindness, and love. Her presence was steady, her heart generous, and her memory will live on through all who knew and loved her.
