Includes the basic services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, embalming, other preparation of remains, use of facilities, equipment, and staff for visitation, use of equipment and staff for ceremony and committal at cemetery, use of funeral coach/hearse, utility vehicle, DVD slideshow, register book and service folders. (This charge does not include casket, outer burial container, cemetery fees or cash advanced items.)

IMMEDIATE BURIAL……....…………..………..……………..................……..……....$1395.00

Our charge includes transfer of remains to funeral home, sanitary care of unembalmed remains, sheltering and/or refrigeration of remains for up to four days, minimum portion of basic service charge for funeral director and staff, transportation to cemetery via utility vehicle at our convenience. (This charge does not include casket, outer burial container, cemetery fees, or cash advanced items.)

 

 

The following requirements are applicable to all burials.

 

The State of Arizona maintains the following legal requirements regarding burial of human remains:

• A government issued burial permit (Obtained on your behalf by Horizon Funeral Care)

• Burial must take place in a cemetery, or properly deeded private property.

 

Private, Municipal, and National Cemeteries may set their own requirements for burial. Common requirements include:

• A casket/minimum container

• Protection to prevent the collapse of grave after burial e.g. a grave liner or vault.

• Cemeteries may have specific requirements concerning the type and style of marker

 

The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona is federally operated by the Veterans Administration and provides the following benefits free of charge. These benefits make burial at the National Cemetery free, and have been earned by all Veterans:

• Burial Plot

• Grave Liner

• Headstone

• Burial Flag

• Military Funeral Honors

 

These benefits are available to:

• Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen on active duty.

• Veterans/Retirees of any of the regular Uniformed Services. 

• The spouse and any adult dependent children of the servicemember/veteran/retiree.
