Seth Richard Tanguay

A precious soul in God's eyes, bravely faced the struggles in his life and has overcome. On January 22, 2026 he left his home on earth and passed into eternity. He will be greatly missed and grieved by his family and friends - those who loved him deeply.

Words cannot express the loss we feel.

Seth was born June 17, 1981 in his family home in Tucson, Arizona. The youngest of four, he is survived by his mother Lori, and his siblings Brian (Cari), Carla (Darrell), and Anna (Joshua). His father, Richard, who passed in 2015, is one of the great cloud of heavenly witnesses who cheered Seth on as he navigated through his life.

After attending Bible College, Seth continued on to complete his education at Arizona State University. He would successfully acquire a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. During his life, he was employed by several businesses in the Phoenix valley. He placed a high value in performing his job well and recently stated, "It is my one joy in life to do quality work."

Seth enjoyed debating. His perspective could be myopic at times. Anyone who knew him quickly witnessed his tenacity and strong opinions pertaining to a wide variety of topics.

However, Seth was an extremely kind soul. His heart for the underdog was massive. He related to and had much compassion for the struggles of his fellow man. He was also an incredibly loyal friend. Those closest to him enjoyed his great sense of humor.

We will miss you terribly, Seth. Your labor here is over. May you find rest in our Father's Everlasting Arms.
