Dale Charles Marston

Dale Charles Marston, 82, died August 21, 2026 with his wife Susan by his side. Dale was born November 3, 1943 in Seattle Washington to Ronald and Emma Marston.

Dale graduated from Shoreline High School in Seattle Washington. He enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country. After the Army, Dale returned home and followed his passion for cars. He was always working with cars in some sort of fashion. In his younger years he worked at gas stations to learn about cars, eventually going on to sell cars at car dealerships all around Washington State. Dale owned his own dealership in Grand Coulee Washington for many years eventually moving back to Western Washington to be closer to family. Later he owned Panda Motors in Western Washington continuing his passion for cars with many family members helping him in the business. In his later years when they moved to New Mexico, he turned to selling RV’s. He discovered he really enjoyed it and he continued that passion with their move to Arizona working at General RV. Dale was a hard worker and he loved to make a “buck”. It was the only thing he loved in the color green. Dale finally retired at 81 to enjoy his puppies full time, smoking his pipe and loving life, with one of his greatest joys being able to go to In-N-Out Burger for a ‘Double Double”.

Dale had many hobbies. He loved to fish. For many years they had a condo in Tahsis Canada and would go up and go fishing. It was the best fishing spot. Dale loved to hunt. He would take the family to Eastern Washington and in the early morning hours he would have Susan, Shaun, Mark and dog trekking through the corn fields looking for the pheasants to pop up. Dale and Mark would often go hunting for deer together. When Dale and Susan lived on Lake Union they had a boat and the family would often go out boating. Dale especially loved the San Juan Islands and Princess Louisa. Many fun memories were made. Dale was an active member of the Nile Temple Shriners for many years supporting the Shriners Children’s Hospital. A family favorite every year was the annual crab feast which featured the famous oriental band, in which Dale played the cymbols.

Dale always had a love for his puppies over the years, each one with a special place in his heart. He is greatly missed by his best buddy and cuddle bug Gizmo and Missy (Mama we call her).

Dale is survived by his wife of 46 years Susan, Daughter Shaun (Dean), Son Mark (Jana) and cherished grandchildren Cameron, Devin, Tristan, Anthony, Isabella, and Cole, step grandchildren Jennifer, Nathan, Logan, Peyton, Ashtyn, six great grandchildren and four brother in laws and their spouses. He is also survived by Aunt Joan Leslie of Kelowna Canada and cousins Gloria and Patricia. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Ron and Emma Marston and his son Dale Marston Jr, Dale truly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Dale will be buried at the VA Cemetery in Phoenix on Monday August 31.
