Raul Teran


A graveside service with military honors for Mr. Raul Teran, 70, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, in San Tan Memorial Garden at Schnepf Farms, Queen Creek, AZ. Mr. Teran entered into rest peacefully at his home on Monday, September, 20, 2021, with his wife Anna, and his daughter, Rhonda, by his side. He was born in Pharr, TX on March 3, 1951 to Miguel Teran and Adela Lerma Teran. He grew up in Rio Grande City, TX, where he played football for the Rattlers. He served in the United States Army in the 75th Ranger Regiment and retired from Pinal County Public Works. He was a resident of San Tan Valley, AZ for over 34 years. He took pride in working in his yard. He loved gardening, cooking, fishing, going to the casino, baking pecan pies for all of his friends’ birthdays. He was also well known for his famous salsa. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Anna Teran of the home; daughter, Rhonda (Jack) Dixon of Hartsville, SC; son, Michael (Teresa) Teran of North, SC, several grandchildren; brothers, Ruben Teran and Rolando Teran, of Rio Grande City, Texas; numerous nephews and nieces; and his special cat, Princess.
