Pamela Jean Stiles, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 5,2025.
Born to Keith and Janet Walgren on October 14,1958 in Cheyenne Wyoming. Pam graduated from central high school in 1977. Pam worked at Bureau of Land Management(BLM) for 35 years as a Law Land Examiner. BLM is where she met her husband Walter Stiles. They were married Aug 1,1987. After retiring in September 2017 she moved to Phoenix,Arizona to be closer to her children.
Pam was proceeded in death by her father Keith Walgren. She is survived by her husband Wally Stiles(AZ), daughters Chanda Whiting and Ashley Call, (AZ), step children Jon and Nikki Maurer (IL), Rhonda May (LA), grandchildren Gracie and Milana May (LA), Parker and Spencer Maurer (IL), Mackenzie and Liam Call (AZ), mother Jan Walgren (WY), sister Patty Hendershot (WY), niece Tristan Williams (WY).
Pam was an endlessly talented woman. Crafts and sewing were a major passion of hers and her skills were endless. After moving to Arizona she joined “Gowns of Love” group where she used wedding dresses to create beautiful dresses and suits for NICU angel babies. She put special love and dedication into each garment to make them perfect. Pamela enjoyed golfing, camping, spending time with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren and making holidays perfect. There was never a dull moment when Pam was around, laughter and the occasional moon were always guaranteed.
Per her request there will be a celebration of life held July 24, 2025 at the American Legion in Cheyenne, Wyoming 1-4pm.
Although we never met, we became fast FB friends. Our lives mirrored each other’s, from being Libras, to working for BLM, to being married for over 3 decades, to celebrating retirement. I always thought we would get together, have a cocktail and share stories about our G-men husbands. Rest in peace Pam, your friend Gail Phelps.
