Michael Leonard Monn

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dad, our friend and mentor, Michael Leonard

Monn, on February 8th, 2024, in his home surrounded by friends and family. Mike was born on November 4th, 1957, to Marion and Irene Monn in Casper Wyoming. He is survived by, daughter "Tish" LaTisha Turner, son "Bone" Daniel Bush, ex-wife "Honey" Helen Monn,

7 grandchildren (Tayler, Preston, Gracie, RaeAnne, Brantley, Trampis, Austin), 4 great-grandchildren, brother Curtis Monn, sister Diane Benson, niece Carrie and nephew's Jared and Les, aunt Jan and cousin Adrian. He is preceded in death by his father Marion,

mother Irene, sister Marian Terry, brother-in-law Art Terry, nephew Pete and brother in-law Howard Benson.

When Mike was younger, he loved spending time with his dad flying, camping in the Big Horns

in the summer, and snowmobiling in the winter. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1975 and in 1976 moved to Alaska to work on the Alaskan Pipeline with his dad which sparked a long career in industrial construction and contracting. He was a Master

with technical concrete foundations and process mechanical installations. Mike traveled all over the United States working and later settled in AZ. Spending summers in Casper and Winters in AZ.

Mike was a gifted restorer of classic cars and loved tinkering in the garage. Mike loved to

restore old houses and even built the house he lived in. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, scuba diving, going to the arcade and spending time with friends and family. The friends Mike gained over the years were lifelong friendships. He had a wonderful sense of

humor, was honest, loyal, and a man of his word. He was quietly confident, and his actions spoke volumes beyond his words. Mike was a genuinely good human being with a big heart who was kind and loved his family and his friends.

Gone too soon but never forgotten. Mike will be greatly missed.
