With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of LindaLee Woodward Jurgens, a beloved wife, mother and stepmother, and proud step-grandmother, who peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2026, with her devoted husband by her side.
LindaLee was born on July 8, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky. She married and had two children and began her career at Chevron Oil Company for 13 years.
In 1982, she met and married the man of her dreams, Jacobus A. Jurgens. Together they built a marriage rooted in unwavering faith, deep friendship, laughter, and steadfast devotion. Their love was a true partnership—one marked by loyalty, tenderness, and enduring commitment.
LindaLee found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gathering around the table for spirited games of backgammon and bridge, relishing both the strategy and the fellowship those games brought. She also had a genuine love for sports, faithfully watching and enthusiastically supporting her favorite teams, bringing energy and excitement to every game she followed.
Gifted with a brilliant mind and a passion for the arts, LindaLee made meaningful contributions to acting and theater later in life. She will be remembered for her creative spirit, her thoughtful presence, her strength, and her steadfast faith that guided her through every season.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jacobus; her children and stepchildren; her step-grandchildren; her step great-grandchildren; and extended family members whose lives were enriched by her love and wisdom.
Though our hearts ache beyond words and the emptiness feels profound, we find deep comfort in knowing she now walks hand in hand with the Lord she loved so faithfully. While we grieve her absence here, we rejoice in the promise that she is at peace, embraced by eternal light and perfect love.
She was deeply loved. She will be greatly missed. And she will remain in our hearts always.
