Born: December 30, 1947 in Oakland. CA

Died: April 29, 2025 in Gilbert, AZ


Julie was born to James E. Fiske and Joan Poole Fiske (both deceased).


Julie was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Raymond C. Wetteland. She is survived by her son Kevin Wetteland, daughter in law Carrie Davis Wetteland, granddaughters Alexandria Wetteland & Jacqueline Wetteland, all of Buckley, WA. Her daughter Theresa Wetteland Katz, son in law Brian Katz, granddaughter Taylor Katz & grandson Brenden Katz, all of Chandler, AZ. She is also survived by her brother David Fiske and sister in law Martha Fiske, niece Marin Fiske Turek (Jimmy) & nephew Hunter Fiske (Courtney), all of Lexington Kentucky.


Julie grew up in San Lorenzo, CA and graduated in 1966 from Arroyo High School. She spent her career working for Pacific Bell/AT&T until she retired in 1991. Julie loved traveling, working at wineries in Lodi CA post retirement and spent numerous hours volunteering at Hospice of San Joaquin, at the many related fundraising events planned & offered by the Hospice of San Joaquin Butterfly Auxiliary - Lodi Chapter.


Ray and Julie moved to Gilbert, AZ in 2015 to be closer to their daughter and her family. She had love and passion for animals and would watch many dogs who needed the comforts of home. Julie passed on April 29th at 7:35am after a short battle against cancer. She not only leaves behind her family but her strong family of friends deemed “the GG’s” who banded together to always support and love each other.
