Bonnie Carol (Rittinger) Dutting of Prescott Valley, Arizona was called home to Heaven peacefully in her sleep on June 16, 2025. She had long battled with neuritis in her legs and recently suffered from a number of other critical medical problems.
Born on July 13, 1950 in Poughkeepsie New York, Daughter of Charles and Carol Rittinger. She graduated from Arlington High School, and studied further at Oneanta College. She moved to Alameda California in 1979 and worked as an executive assistant with Bechtel Corporation in San Francisco, Kaiser-Permanente in Oakland, and several others until she retired in 2012.
She was the beloved wife and is survived by William (Bill) Robert Dutting, and by Brothers Ronald (Bud) Rittinger of Concord California and David Mark Rittinger of Oakland California.
She will be remembered for her volunteer work with the American Society for Training and Development, Board of Directors in Orange County, California, and as a Virtual Assistant to many small business owners.
Her final wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread in the Pacific Ocean. She did not wish to hold any final memorial services, but a private Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to Shriners Children's Boston: Located at 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114.
