Shirley Ann Minnis

Shirley Ann (Schuh) Minnis, 72, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 08, 2020 at John C Lincoln North Mountain Hospital.

Shirley, was an active and dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 17 years. She made A.A. her life passion, she offered sponsorship to countless women through the years, attended many different functions, and in her later years became a Peer Support Counselor to others in recovery.

Shirley was born October 10, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father; Larry J Schuh, mother; Susanne L (Hill) Boydston, husband/best friend/soulmate; James Minnis, and her stepfather; David L Boydston. She was survived by her son; Richard Waldron, daughter; Sonya Rae (Tambash) Dikeman, and granddaughter; Shea Dikeman. She is also survived by her brother; Frank Brou, wife; Suzi and their family, the father of her children; Jim Tambash, his wife; Sue, as well as her uncle, cousins, and many friends she called family.
