After a very early retirement, George and his wife moved to the mountains of Tennessee and later ended up in the hot valley of Arizona.
George was a devoted family man and loving father. He married Cathi in 1989 and they enjoyed raising their two fantastic children together. He was dedicated to his beliefs and loved sitting out back with his Granddog, “Baby”, camping with his family, playing the slot machines, and watching Nascar. His family and friends will always remember George as a generous and caring husband, father, and friend.
As per Georges wishes there will be no funeral service. He truly believed that people should embrace each other while they’re alive and cherish those memories they had together when they die.
His wife would like to thank all the supportive family, friends, doctors, and nurses for their compassion and comfort these last six months.
In lieu of flowers, George wished that donations be sent in his memory to Savior Hospice and Palliative Care at 4530 East Shea Blvd, Phoenix AZ 85028.
