Cynthia Lee Price

Cynthia Lee Price, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister & niece was called home on Tuesday February 6, 2018 while sleeping. Cindy, as everyone knew her, was a loving mother of 2 and a devoted grandmother of 8. Cindy was only 61 years young when the Lord called her home. She was born in Bradford Pennsylvania on January 22, 1957, she moved to the Valley in 1961 with her parents and 2 siblings. She graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1975 and shortly after she married Donald Dusenberry and together they had 2 children; Tammy, and Antony (Tony) Dusenberry. Don preceded her in death. She later married her beloved husband, Richard Price in 1986. They spend most of their married lives in and around the East Valley and Tempe area. Cindy and Richard were avid square dancers for many years. They loved to travel with their square dance family. Cindy was an accomplished cook as well as baker. However, her skill as a seamstress and quilter are well known by her family and friends. She truly enjoyed showing off her latest needle work at every opportunity. She shared her gifts with many throughout her lifetime, with most of her family members being treated to a wonderful quilt in their favorite colors. Cindy was the 2nd daughter of 4 daughters and 1 son of Robert & Shirley Fullerton Healey both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Richard Price, as well as her children Tammy Dusenberry, Tony (Carrie) Dusenberry, Chris Price, and Terri Price. As well as her eight grandchildren that she loved and adored; Cheyenne, Nathaniel, Andrew, MaryAnn, Christopher, Sabrina, Regan, and Loren. She was preceded in death by just 17 days, by her only brother and youngest sibling, Robert Kent Healey. She is survived by Mechele (Nick) Grenfell of Phoenix, AZ and Punxsutawney, PA, Vickie (Jeff) Hoffman of Marietta GA, & Cheri Hobbs of College Station, TX. She is also survived by one aunt, Gay (Dan) Ramella of California and one uncle, Russ Fullerton of Florida as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Cindy was the rock and glue of her family and she will be greatly missed by many who loved her very much especially her family. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday March 24, 2018.
