Jerry B. Huegle
Jerry B. Huegle born Oct 2, 1947 in Akron, OH Passed away July 19, 2017 at his home in Queen Creek AZ.
Jerry is survived by his wife Joyce E. Huegle two sons Michael Curtis (Linda) and Christopher Huegle two brothers James Huegle and Randy Carpenter and sister Sharon Carpenter Bromley (Bob) six grandchildren Sarah Frost (Cory), Andrew Curtis (Amy), Carl Curtis (Lexi) Carlee Curtis, Helen Dodd (Darren) Jamieta Curtis-Miranda (David) and seven Great grandchildren Troy, Nathan, Zackary, Emma, Aria, Andrew, David Jr. and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in Death by his Mother Esther Carpenter Father Roger Huegle, Brother Charles Carpenter and two Grandsons Marcus and Zachary Curtis.
He served four years with distinction as a Marine in Vietnam; Jerry received the Purple Heart when he was wounded during combat operations, and received other commendations for his dedication and bravery. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest.
A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be Saturday August 12th 2017 at Mesa Tri-City Eagles 1712 W Broadway Rd #108, Mesa, AZ 85202.
The service is open to all family and friends of Jerry from 3pm-5pm with military honors being presented at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in the Name of Jerry B. Huegle to the Wounded Warrior Project.
