Ramon Arnold (Arnulfo) Ruiz

Ramon Arnold Ruiz, age 44, of Phoenix, Arizona passed Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Honor Health Scottsdale Shea Medical Center. Ramon was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to the late Ramon Ruiz and Martha Enriqueta Aguilar Camacho on October 28, 1977.

Ramon and his family moved to California when he was a toddler. He sought and became an American citizen when he was 21 and was always very proud to be an American.

Ramon was a very hard worker. He started working at age 10 in the fields to help support his family. He held a variety of jobs all during his school years and developed a lot of skills.

Ramon met Sarah Delight Rebich at work at DHR (now Paychex) and they were married June 24, 2006. Sarah had three children that Ramon instantly became a stepfather to and helped raise. Their son, Tanner Parker Ruiz was born on September 18, 2010. Ramon was very proud to be a father and grandfather. He loved all the children as his own.

Ramon loved his family, friends, and people in general. He easily made friends and delighted in talking to everyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing games, all kinds of sports, and socializing.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ramon Ruiz. Ramon is survived by his mother, Martha Enriqueta Aguilar Camacho Perales (Miguel) of El Centro, CA, his siblings, Laura Ruiz Davis (Bryan) of Gila Bend, AZ, Alberto Alejandro Ruiz (Amanda) of Maricopa, AZ, Roberto “AJ” Agustine Luna of Mesa, AZ, former spouse, Sarah Delight Ruiz of Phoenix, AZ, his son, Tanner Parker Ruiz, his step-children, Caleb Austin Bailey (Liz), Trevan Robert Christensen (Jessi), Olivia Lynne Christensen, three step-grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces.

A visitation for Ramon will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8710 N 3rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85023, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Ramon will then be buried at Pioneer Cemetery in Gila Bend, AZ at 1:30 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2:30 at the Elks’ Lodge in Gila Bend. This will be a potluck affair. Please bring a dish and join us in celebrating the life of Ramon Ruiz.
