Norma "Norm" Constance Sbezzo
September 29, 1931 – June 17, 2022
Norma was born on September 29, 1931 to Victor and Jessie Andrisani in North Haledon, New Jersey. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey and graduated from East Side High School in 1949. Norma played the piano, was a Majorette, and on student council. Norma attended night school at Fairleigh Dickinson College in Rutherford, New Jersey and graduated with an Associates degree in Secretarial in 1951.
Norma loved to travel and visited many places around the world with her girlfriends over the next few years. Then, in 1966, she married Arturo Sbezzo and they moved to upstate NY. In 1968, their daughter, Alicia, was born and Norma retired from teaching to stay home. In 1972, their son, Marco, was born.
In 1978, Norma & Arturo moved the family to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to open a family restaurant, Arturo’s Pizza. Norma & Arturo lived in Lake Havasu City until they moved to Mesa, Arizona in 2012 to be closer to their kids and grandkids.
Norma passed peacefully on June 17, 2022 and is survived by her sister, Jean Calzolari, her daughter, Alicia Wilson, her son, Marco Sbezzo, granddaughter Julianna Froemel, and grandson, Joshua Wilson.
Norma was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and never-ending patience. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed but will live on in our fond memories of her always.
