Michael Anthony Mriss Jr.

Michael Anthony Mriss Jr., 76, Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on May 5, 2021.

Michael was born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 18, 1944. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1962. Mike enjoyed a lengthy career at IBM as a customer engineer for over 30 years. He married Elaine on July 2, 1965, and they were married 53 years. He enjoyed collecting and fixing antique clocks, flying RC planes and trips to the family cabin in northern Arizona.

Michael is survived by his two sons, Scott and Kevin, brother Carl(Martha), three granddaughters, Jessica, Kayleigh, and Hannah Mriss. He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine Mriss. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend to all; He will be dearly missed but always in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held at 8 am Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Thude Park.
