Karin Ellenor Gerbes

Karin Ellenor Maddock Gerbes, 70, passed away March 12, 2022. She joined her husband Ken, parents Don & Betty, and her great-grandniece Jeda in eternity. She is survived by daughter Carisa Abbondanza Woolstenhulme (Randy), brothers Donald Jr. and Lindsey and sister Gayle Cohen (Rick). Karin loved her nieces and nephews and their children. Her life held adventure and career, however she is most remembered and missed for her fierce love, loyalty and selflessness. She was quick with a joke, a laugh and making even strangers feel at ease. She was our rock and without her we are adrift. A Celebration of Life will be held at SRP PERA Club on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers to Duet Partners in Health & Aging.
