Bruce Hanson

Bruce Neal Hanson was born July 25, 1949, in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Wilmer and Enid (Tangen) Hanson. He was baptized and then later confirmed at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Valley City, N.D. Bruce attended school in Valley City, N.D, graduating in 1967. He served in the United States Navy (Vietnam) for two years as a corpsman on the USS Coral Sea. He attended college at Mesa Community College, graduating with an associates degree in 1975. He made a career in the semi conductor field, (Motorola), (On Semiconductor), for 30+ years.

On September 3, 1991, Bruce was united in marriage to Holly McLain. Members of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe, Arizona they lovingly raised their three children. Bruce loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, riding quads, playing basketball, watching sports and loving his grandchildren.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Holly Hanson, Mesa, AZ; Brandon (Summer) Lolling, and children, Carter and Payton, Queen Creek, AZ; Kimberley (Christopher) Morris, and children, Autumn, Abigail, Joshua, and (+2), Florence, AZ; Ryan Hanson, Williston, ND; Brother, John (Darla) Hanson, Williston, ND; Nephews, Christopher Hanson, Williston, ND; Zachary Wescom, Gilbert, AZ; and many extended family who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and some extended family.

A celebration of life in Arizona and burial with Military Honors in Kathryn, North Dakota to be announced at a later date.
