Kevin Kay Allen

Kevin Kay Allen, 63, of Queen Creek, Arizona, died on May 23, 2019 after a valiant 3-month fight with cancer.

Kevin was born on February 1, 1956 to Conrad and Kay (Smith) Allen in Mesa, Arizona. He graduated from Mesa High School where he excelled in music and sports, and served as student body president. He accepted a mission call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to live and proselyte in Uruguay and Paraguay from 1975 to 1977—which he did faithfully. Upon returning he attended school at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. At the age of 60, Kevin earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Kevin married and was sealed to Robin Boyle for eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 29, 2001.

Kevin was a loving husband and father. He was also a dazzling performer; he’d act in plays, sing in musicals, and was an unrivaled master of ceremonies for scores of social and corporate events. He was a skilled salesman, a professional speaker, an author, an entrepreneur, a pigeon fancier, a prison minister, and a sought after corporate officer. He was blessed with the genuine ability to entertain hundreds of people while at the same time forming countless individual bonds to those with whom he interacted.

Kevin loved to help people in need. Nearly every day he’d go to his local QuickTrip gas station and find someone who was in need of service. He’d buy them a drink, a hot dog, or a tank of gas, and would spend a few minutes to learn about them.

Kevin is proceeded by his wife Robin (Boyle) Allen and her five children: Brandon, Dayton, Taylor, Chelsea, and Caitie who join Kevin’s two sons from his previous marriage; Keaton and Kody. In all, Kevin and Robin boast 7 children and 24 grandchildren.

Please join us in celebrating Kevin’s inspiring life! Public Funeral Services will be held May 31, 2019 at 10 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 22035 E. Ocotillo Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85242.
