William E. Myers III


William E Myers, III, also known as Bill, passed away Tuesday, Sept 4th, 2018. Bill was born in Phoenix, AZ but raised near the San Diego, CA area. He graduated from Helix High School where he enjoyed playing many brass instruments and qualified to go on the World’s Fair Tour. He also enjoyed surfing and going on a Boy Scout Jamboree.

Bill served a mission in Japan for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When he returned, he moved to Provo where he met and married his wife of 37 years, Cynthia. He served 6 years in the Marine Corps. where he was able to travel a lot, including back to Japan. He was awarded with the Good Conduct Metal twice and made Rifle Expert 4 times.

Bill was a father of three; William E. Myers, IV, Natalie, and Jennifer, all born in different states.

Even after the Marine Corps, Bill continued traveling as an EDI Consultant. He worked in almost all 50 states. He loved it when, one at a time, the children would come to visit him and he could show them the town.

Bill went to college and finally graduated 36 years later.

Bill was survived by his wife, all three children, and two grandchildren, Oaklie and Stetson.

The viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14th, 2018 followed by his services at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 32404 N. Gary Road, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143. A light lunch will be serves for the family from 11: 15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Burial services will take place at 1:30 p.m. for all that would like to attend at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.

Bill, you are deeply loved and will be greatly missed every day.
