Jim Scovel

Jim Scovel, age 77, passed away March 22, 2018 at his home in San Tan Valley, AZ., with family and friends present. Jim recently retired from Safeway where he drove a truck for many years. He also served his country, as a young man, in the Marines. Survivors include Sue Scovel, his wife of 46 years, sons Mark and Matt Scovel, two step sons, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, and a step son Randy K. Wood. Cremation has been accorded per Jim’s wishes and there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
