Joel Dee Jones

It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the passing away of Joel Dee Jones, age 61. Joel passed away at home surrounded by family on April 27th, 2017 after a long battle with lung Disease and was the a recipient of a double lung transplant.

Joel was born February 24th, 1956 in American Fork, Ut. He worked at a refinery and was also an Army veteran who served from 1973-1979 stationed in Hawaii. He moved to Arizona in 1987 where he worked as an engineer at Intel for 23yrs. Joel Married the love of his life Sherri on September 2nd, 2010 and gained 6 children who all adored him. Joel was a loving husband, father, brother grandfather and friend to all.

Joel enjoyed reading, watching football, playing command and conquer, his cats, the occasional vodka drink, loved time with family and mostly he enjoyed the love of his life Sherri, they both loved each other oodles….

Joel is survived by his wife Sherri Jones, 6 children, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister Kay Herron and brother Rick Jones. Joel will be reunited with his mother Sheila Jones and brother Tom Jones in heaven.

A celebration of life memorial will be held Friday May 12, 2017 at 52 S Center St Mesa, AZ. 85210
