Shirley Lecocq Weaver

Shirley Lecocq Weaver 87, of Mesa, Arizona was born on February 2, 1928 in Pana, Illinois to Joseph and Nellie Lecocq. She passed away on June, 11 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. Her son Mark has written the following tribute.

"My Mother was very Smart and knew so many things. She studied Health related things a lot in her later years. She spent most of her working career as an executive secretary for a large electronic and computer related firm. Somehow in the midst she found time to deal with and raise 2 teenage sons. ( My brother and I. We were not without our faults.) She would always find something to be proud of us about. I know we could not be more proud to have had her as our mother. I am a son of a very proud and accomplished woman. She was able to do a lot of things in her life, that others may dream about. Beside taking a few trips to several other countries, she was also able to study flying and achieve her pilots license.She was a very hard working single Mom for years raising My brother and I and seemed to do everything needed to keep house, yard, family, bills and food on the table. Amazingly found time to study more to better herself in her career. We will always Love and Appreciate her life with thankfulness."
