Betty Jean Longhurst

Betty Jean Longhurst 90, died peacefully on April 19, 2017 in her home at Springdale Village Mesa AZ. Betty Jean was born October 13, 1926 in Ely Nevada. The daughter of William Napier and Bertha M. Prothero. She was married to Brandon Longhurst for 54 years. Betty Jean was selfless. She put the needs of her family and friends before herself. She was meek and mild and expressed her gratitude to all. Her last words were "Thank you". She was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and had great faith in the Lord. She is survived by her 4 daughters. Linda Coleman Collinsville OK (Michael), Eileen Perkins ShowLow Az (Gerald), Lydia Michael Gilbert Az (Ron), Connie Rogers Eagar Az (Homer). 18 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Thurman Napier, Sisters Fleda Simonian, Lurlene Renning and Joy Cynova also 4 grandsons Kaelsy and Steven Rogers, Tyson McDonald and Strider Michael. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her at Springdale Village the past 15 years. A celebration of her life will be held Monday April 24, 2017.
