Jeri Blessington

Jeri Michelle Blessington was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt, Mother-in-law and friend.

Jeri's life centered around her family. She grew up in Lytton, Iowa and met Lyle Blessington from Sac City, Iowa- the love of her life while still in high school. They were married for 50 years and raised four wonderful children - Kristie, Tami, Michelle and Lee. They also share four grandchildren - Sonny, Heather, Lyle and Bethani and seven great grand children - Alaura, Nadia, Maddox, Jaxson, Nixon, Zane and Damien. She loved them all dearly and unconditionally. She was the glue that held this family together.

Jeri's heart went far beyond family. She helped so many, even when she was unable to help herself. She gave when she had little to give and never once asked for anything in return. Jeri was a kind and beautiful soul who always loved unselfishly and with true sincerity.

Jeri will be terribly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. There will be a hole in our hearts forever.

Jeri lived life for others and now we will live life for her. She will be missed more than words can say. We will love her forever with all of our hearts.

A memorial will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 2:00 PM at Horizon Funeral Care.
