William Maurice Blaine

William Maurice Blaine, age 77, of Mesa, Arizona went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, April 9th, 2016. He was born November 27, 1938 in Galesburg, Illinois to Maurice (Morrie) and Ruth (Olson) Blaine. He was a member of Victory Lutheran Church in Mesa, Arizona.

Bill was a horticulturist and earned his degree from the University of Illinois. He also loved everything to do with airplanes, particularly those from WWII era. He was fond of sour dough pizza, ice cream and a good batch of chili.

Bill is survived by his Son: Scott Blaine (Ann); Daughter: Ann Sears (Trent); Granddaughter: Kristina Radford; Great Grandchildren: Ella and Eligh; Treasured in-laws: Berniece (Jim) Voga, David and Judi Charlson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his Mother: Ruth Margaret (Olson) Blaine; Father: Maurice (Morrie) Cunningham Blaine; Wife: Elizabeth Brinton (Voga) Blaine; Brother-in-law: R.James Voga, Jr.

A private memorial and scattering of ashes will be held by his children Wednesday April 27 in Arizona
