Thompson, Sheryl Danielle "Dani"

Dani Thompson, 41, an Arizona native and longtime resident of Queen Creek, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, surrounded by friends and family. Born on May 24, 1974 to Melva Z. Richardson and Dan Zingsheim, she is survived by her son, Jeremy Nathan Thompson.

Dani was a single mom, daughter, a community manager, a diva, friend, creative goddess with icing tubes, dreamer, fighter, person of faith, and lover of life and laughter. To know Dani, was to hear a hearty laugh and know the excitement and fun were about to begin. While fighting cancer, she kept her spirits high and would allow no one to even think that this day was a possibility. Even toward the end, when her pain was great she wanted to fight the cancer, she wanted to find the miracle, she wanted to be the exception. The pain has now ended for Dani and for that, we are thankful. Now it is our turn to carry the burden and pain that each of us feel without her courage, generosity and love.

The viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 22424 S. Meridian, Queen Creek, AZ, 85142 on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 7-9pm.
