George Samuel Brandt

Sam passed away on August 11, 2015 in Mesa, AZ, after a short battle with cancer. Sam was 62 years old.

Sam was born on December 18, 1952 in Taft, California, the only child of Paul and Charlie Brandt. Sam is survived by his wife Debi, his parents Paul and Charlie, his son Derrick, his daughter-in-law Christina, and his granddaughter Lauren.

After four years in the Air Force, Sam spent his early career as a pilot, flying commercial planes with his father. He worked in the electronics business in his later years, where he met his wife, Debi. Sam loved traveling, especially to the beaches of California and Mexico; he also enjoyed hiking, and taking the Jeep out on 4x4 adventures. Sam was a great cook, and had the most wonderful laugh.
