Sharon Claree Jacobsen passed away peacefully in Chandler, Arizona on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 78. She was born on April 6, 1938 in Logan, Utah to Clyde Jacobsen and Marie Sprouse Jacobsen. The family relocated from Utah to the Los Angeles area and shortly thereafter her sister Gloria Jean was born. Upon settling in Burbank, Sharon attended Emerson Elementary, John Muir Junior High and Burbank High School. After graduation, Sharon attended Brigham Young University for 3 years where she majored in child psychology. Margaret June Chastain, (Maggie) born January 22, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana, succumbed to her illness on May 11, 2016 at her home in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 63. Maggie loved to garden, paint, go camping, rockhound and mine for gold. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rush and Peggy Williams, and a grandson, Jade Phillips. Jose Hernandez-Meza, 61, passed away in his home on May 3rd, 2016, with his daughter by his side in Mesa, Arizona. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13th. His family requests that only family attend his viewing from 6pm-7pm. Friends of Jose who wish to attend will be welcomed from 7pm-8pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 10am. World War II veteran, Eldred Lines Cluff, born to Earl and Freda Cluff on August 27, 1924, quietly passed away early May 8, 2016 at the age of 91. Eldred grew up in Pima, Arizona with his 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He married Thora Scott on October 4th, 1949. He worked as a Database Analyst for the City of Mesa for over 20 years. Octavia Viola Star Den Beste was born in Harrison, SD and passed away in her home in Star Valley, AZ with family at her bedside. She was 92 years of age.
